Germination Guide
Aegle marmelos (English)
Use suitable substrate for seed, light and porous germination. We suggest a peat and perlite mixture, but you can use the substrate you like most convenient, provided that it is suitable for seed germination.
Seeds do not germinate under heavy and/or closed substrate, they die and rot.
Moisture the substrate so as not to fill it.
Plant the seeds and cover lightly, keep your seeding allocated from direct sunlight, but with good light.
The ideal temperature for germination of this species will be around 24 to 26c.
If you prefer, put the container or vase inside a transparent plastic bag, that way you are providing temperature and humidity required to seed germination.
In ideal conditions germination generally occurs within 20 and 45 days.
After germination, transfer to potential vessels carefully not to damage the root of small dumps.
Seek environment for small dumbers for 8-12 minimum weeks before transplanting them to the definitive site; and try to do it only on cloudy days.
