Description

A spreading shrub rarely more than 3 m tall, native to the coastal areas of southeastern Australia, with arching branches covered by fibrous bark, small, narrow, densely arranged leaves and clusters of beautiful starry, cream colored flowers with an intense honey scent, followed by leathery seed pods. Kunzea ambigua is also the source of a special oil, used in aroma-therapy. A beautiful, low maintenance ornamental for warm-temperate climates, in USDA Zones 9 and above.
