Description
Solanum lycopersicum ‘Black Krim’ is a famous heirloom beefsteak tomato originating from the Crimean Peninsula, prized for its deep, complex flavor and striking dark coloration. The indeterminate plants are vigorous and productive, typically reaching 1.8 to 2.4 meters in height, and require staking or caging to support the heavy fruit set. Fruits are large, slightly flattened, and develop dark reddish-brown to purplish skin with green shoulders. The flesh is juicy and rich, offering a bold, savory flavor with sweet and smoky undertones, making it excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, and gourmet culinary uses.
