Description

A wonderful, moderately large Aloe with pale bluish, leaves in a spreading crown, a short, usually decumbent stem and large, branched inflorescences with reddish flowers fading to yellowish when opening. Aloe kaokoensis is native to the Otjihipa Mountains in northern Namibia around 1000 m. In cultivation it is best suited to dry, warm temperate and some tropical climates in USDA Zones 9 and above.
