Description

A beautiful cactus that form small clusters of unbrached, moderately slender stems to about 2 m tall that are armed with short spines and densely clothes in fine, white, beard-like, drooping hairs. Oreocereus celsianus is native to dry highland regions of the Andes in Bolivia and northwestern Argentina between 2900 and 3600 m. In cultivation it is easy, adaptable and best suited to warm temperate climates.
