These terms apply to every purchase made at www.quintadosouriques.com. By placing an order you accept them.
Quinta dos Ouriques is a trade name of GISELLE CORDOVA MOLON, SOCIEDADE UNIPESSOAL LDA, a company registered in Portugal.
We sell seeds for cultivation and germination supplies. Seeds are sold for growing only and are not intended for human or animal consumption. Product photos show the mature plant, fruit or a representative seed and are illustrative; seeds and plants vary naturally. Botanical names follow current accepted nomenclature to the best of our knowledge; synonyms are listed for reference.
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping is free to every country on orders over €30; below that, the shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay. Import taxes charged in the destination country are paid by the buyer. The price that applies is the one shown at the time of your order.
You will receive an automatic email confirming that we received your order. The contract is concluded when we dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if a product is no longer available, if a seed lot fails our quality check before dispatch, or if a species cannot be legally sent to your country. If part of an order is unavailable, we refund that part; we only substitute a product if you ask us to.
We accept credit and debit cards, processed securely by Stripe, and PayPal. We never see or store your card details. Payment is taken when the order is placed.

Consumers have the legal guarantee of conformity provided by Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021). Germination and plant growth depend on conditions outside our control and are not covered by the guarantee of conformity; seed that arrives in conformity with its description, correctly identified and stored as stated, is considered conforming.
The buyer is responsible for checking that the species ordered may be imported and grown in their country and region. We do not knowingly sell species listed as invasive in the European Union or in Portugal, or species requiring CITES permits without the corresponding documentation.
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order, except where the law does not allow such a limit, including in cases of intent or gross negligence.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where they live. Without prejudice to alternative dispute resolution, the courts of Porto are competent for disputes with business customers.
