Growing Tips
Soak seeds for 24 hours in warm water before sowing to improve germination rate. Sow seeds on the surface of well-draining mix and press gently without burying completely, as agave seeds benefit from light exposure. Maintain soil temperature between 70-80°F (21-27°C) for optimal germination. Once seedlings emerge, gradually introduce them to brighter light conditions while keeping soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Enclose the container in plastic to maintain humidity during germination phase. Avoid excess heat and maintain good air circulation. Seedlings are slow-growing; do not overwater or overfertilize. Transplant into individual pots once they develop 2-3 sets of leaves.
