Description

White bitter gourd has a unique white and light crispy taste, and compared to other varieties of bitter gourd, its bitterness is slightly less. It can be soaked in cold water and drained to remove some of those strong flavours.

itter melon seeds should be planted 20cm (¾ inch) deep and spaced 50cm (20 inches) apart. A trellis, bamboo poles, or wooden stakes should be inserted in the soil close to where the seeds are planted, allowing the vines to climb up. Plant in April.

The plant grows vigorously in warm climates and bears lots of fruits for a long time.
