Description
Dactylicapnos scandens, often called Yellow Bleeding Heart Vine, is a fast-growing, deciduous perennial climber native to the Himalayas. It is known for its delicate, finely-cut, fern-like foliage that creates a lacy curtain of green.
The plant’s most notable feature is its abundant display of small, heart-shaped, bright yellow flowers that dangle in clusters. These blooms appear from mid-summer until the first frost, providing a long season of interest. It climbs by way of slender tendrils, making it an excellent choice for a trellis, fence, or to ramble through other shrubs.
